Bio

I’m a Grierson award-winning Director, Development Exec and Impact Producer with an extensive track record making journalistic and visually creative films for all the main UK broadcasters. I began my career in current affairs before moving into narrative-driven documentary, specialist factual, arts and factual drama. My work focuses on provoking change with compelling stories. My programmes have consistently generated headlines, delivered strong audience figures and two have screened in Parliament. As Development Exec, my work has helped win business with streamers including Netflix, Disney+, and NBCUniversal, as well as the BBC and Channel 4. I’m currently developing factual drama projects at Banijay. As a Fellow on the UAL Storytelling Institute’s Impact Production Fellowship, I’m also working with the Institute to explore how impact production works across the entertainment industry. And as a Story Consultant with the media charity Heard, I’m advising UK Broadcasters, Commissioners, and their suppliers on meeting the Climate Content Pledge.
