Bio

Amelia was born and raised in London. She is an award-winning documentary film producer with over 12 years of experience developing and producing documentary films that have gone on to win awards and nominations from the EMMYs, BAFTA and the Royal Television Society. Amelia is focused on the impact of storytelling for social justice and has created successful impact campaigns for BBC and Guardian films. Amelia has a background in working with high-profile and luxury brands to produce documentary films that communicate the 'brand story.' Using this background in commercial work she applies her ability to translate the power of meaning and story within documentary. Most recently she worked with Ridley Scott Films to develop a new slate of unscripted films that centred around climate justice and mental health equality. With a keen passion for education Amelia teaches BA Documentary at Met Film School in London and previously taught at London College of Communication.
