Bio

Funmibi works between strategic communications and impact production. In her communications work, she focused on framing and narrative storytelling for social movements. She previously worked at the New Economy Organisers Network on their Messaging and Narrative Programme where she supported campaigners, spokespeople and coalitions of activist groups and organisations to develop powerful messaging for broadcast media. She continues to freelance in this world. At the same time, she has co-founded ooto, an impact production collective designing and developing impact campaigns for unapologetic social justice documentaries. She is interested in bringing her strategic communications experience into the film world. She's keen to work with other people to explore the role framing tools and public perception research could have in documentary filmmaking and impact campaigning.
