Jackie Garrow, Impact Producer/Founder, Ring Five Impact Docs Since they opened their doors in 2015, Jackie and her team at Ring Five have led successful community engagement + impact campaigns for over a dozen award-winning Canadian social justice documentaries. Their recent impact portfolio includes Subjects of Desire (Dir. Jennifer Holness) the Hot Docs Citizen Minutes Project, Love The Last Chapter (Dir. Dominique Keller), Food For The Rest of Us (Dir. Caroline Cox) and Into the Weeds (Dir. Jennifer Baichwal). Jackie has secured campaign funding from corporations, private foundations and government agencies and has forged strategic campaign partnerships with major national organizations like the Canadian Womens Foundation, MiningWatch Canada, Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness, Community Food Centres Canada, the National Council of Canadian Muslims, Environmental Defence and Friends of The Earth-Canada. She and her team have acquired solid expertise in creatively bringing films into educational, community and corporate settings and transitioning audiences from passive to active viewers motivated to make change.
