Bio
Nicola Tenca is a sociologist with a Master’s degree in Audiovisual and Cinema from Goethe Universität Frankfurt. With extensive experience in project management, he is currently Head of Production at Laboratório Cisco, a Brazilian documentary production company dedicated to human rights, LGBTQIA+, social justice, and environmental issues. At Laboratório Cisco, Nicola has worked on a wide range of projects, from broadcast series to independent documentaries. Nicola’s path into impact producing began while developing the campaign for "Até Onde a Vista Alcança" (Doc, 77'', Hidalgo Romero and Alice Villela), where he has been responsible for research, strategy, and implementation. He has participated in the Doc Impacto Lab at DocSP in 2025 and is committed to building methodologies that connect film to tangible social change. Bringing together his academic training, production expertise, and commitment to social impact, Nicola is dedicated to strengthening the field of impact producing in Brazil and contributing to its global recognition as an essential dimension of the film industry.
