Bio
With a creative and justice oriented practice established in childhood, Talia is a dynamic photographer, organiser and impact producer with a number of years experience in these fields. As a teenager Talia organised on a national and international level within the youth climate justice movement, leading on a range of campaigns and mobilisations. Simultaneously, she documented this work through photography and film, which led her to finding the field of impact production in 2021. During this time she was involved in a frontline environmental defence campaign, actively resisting deforestation in the UK, and her first impact role was for a wildlife documentary exploring these issues. Since, she has worked on a number of independent documentary projects as an impact producer, researcher and production assistant. Talia has also had her visual and written work widely published and has worked in a freelance capacity for Lush, the V&A, Ecosia and more. Most recently she founded Reframe Collective, a group of photographers and visual artists involved with movements for social change, through which she has curated exhibitions at Glastonbury and Shambala Festivals, created a diverse network of 50+ practitioners across the UK and secured funding to research the implications of policing and surveillance on the documentation of protest. Her passion and dedication provide her with a refreshing level of energy and ingenuity which she brings to every project she is involved with, and her varied experience as an organiser gives her unique insight as to using impact production practices most strategically and effectively.
